For the children there is a Crealy Adventure Park near Wadebridge. Dairyland is also a great place for the kids near, with an indoor ball pool, near Quintrell Downs. Visit the spooky Bodmin Jail or Jamaica Inn.  Flambards Theme Park is down near Helston, the Maritime Museum and Rick Stein's chippy is at Falmouth, and the Minack Theatre and Lands End attractions are even further down.

If its more Wildlife you're after, try the Screech Owl Wildlife Park at Indian Queens, the Sealife Centre at Towan Beach in Newquay, or the Cornish Bird of Prey Centre & Animal Park near Wadebridge, Old MacDonald's Farm near Porthcothan, Portreath Bee Centre, The Monkey Sanctuary Nr Looe, The National Marine Aquarium on Plymouth Barbican, The National Lobster Hatchery at Padstow, or the Seal Sanctuary down in Gweek Nr Helston, or Paradise Park nr St Ives, or maybe Newquay Zoo ... to name but a few!

For Arts and Culture you could catch a performance at the Lane Theatre Newquay, or the Hall for Cornwall in Truro. Truro also has the Royal Cornwall Museum.

Why not try a trip to the Isles of Scilly while you are here? Skybus flies from Newquay airport, which is just 5 minutes walk from The Smugglers Inn.  You could do a day trip (please ask me for a discount coupon before booking), or maybe arrange a longer stay before or after your time at Smugglers.
